Questions about the Google Sheets invoice template
Is it really free?
Yes. The download is free, with no sign-up, no email and no watermark. The online builder is free too.
Do I need a Google account?
Yes, to copy it into Google Sheets. Without one, download the Excel version, which works the same way.
Will the formulas keep working?
Yes. The sheet only uses simple formulas like SUM and ROUND, which Google Sheets supports fully.
How do I add more lines?
Right-click a row inside the item table, choose Insert 1 row above, and copy the amount formula from the row above.
Can I track which invoices are paid?
Keep each invoice as its own copy and add the status to the file name, for example INV-004 PAID. A simple list of numbers, amounts and dates paid in another sheet works well.
