Questions
What is the difference between an estimate and a quote?
An estimate is your best guess at the cost and can change as the job goes on. A quote is a fixed price for a clearly defined job. Use an estimate when the scope might change.
Can I turn my estimate into an invoice?
Yes. Open the estimate and tap Convert to invoice. Everything is copied over with a new invoice number, ready to send when the work is done.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every template, every download format and every feature in the builder is free. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many documents you make.
Where is my information saved?
Only in your own browser on this device. We never upload your business details, customers or prices. Download a copy of anything you need to keep.
Can I open it in Word or Google Docs?
Yes. Download the Word file and open it in Microsoft Word, or upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Docs. The Excel file keeps live formulas for the totals.
