Questions about the Google Docs estimate template
Is it really free?

Do I need a Google account?
Yes, to make a copy in Google Docs. Without one, download the Word version or fill the estimate in online.
Does Google Docs calculate the totals?
No. Docs tables don't do maths. For automatic totals, and labor and materials split out, use the Google Sheets estimate template, or fill the estimate in online.
How long should an estimate be valid?
30 days is common. Use a shorter window, such as 14 days, when material prices move quickly.
How do I reuse it for the next job?
Open your copy and choose File > Make a copy, then change the estimate number, customer, dates and lines.
